During my recent stay at Wingate By Wyndham Rock Hill/Charlotte/Metro Area, I was excited about the convenient location just minutes from Charlotte. The hotel’s cozy atmosphere was quite inviting, perfect for both relaxation and a bit of work between my photography sessions. I did have a little hiccup with the dining experience as the food wasn’t impressive, and it was disappointing to find no breakfast on weekends. When I asked the staff to clean a dirty table, the response felt a bit brusque. Apparently, she was the only one working, which felt unfair, considering the hotel was bustling with guests. On the brighter side, the gym and outdoor pool provided great ways to unwind, and the free WiFi was essential for sharing my travel snaps. While the service could have been smoother, the hotel is a decent base for exploring the charming Rock Hill area.
